Prayer on Campus

We are beginning to build a team of fellow christians to join in the pursuit of prayer on our campus. We are convinced that God has given us the vision to change this campus for him showing those around us his incredible redeaming love.  We are in the beginning phase of ministry, we are trusting God to see his vision for our campus through.  This semester we are gathering people to meet once a week for prayer, we are going to have give God our schedules and our plans in order to make this happen.  During this semester we will be learning how we can pray-different ways, different styles of prayer, how we can hear that still small voice in our life, how to fully experience the fullness that prayer has for us.  God's people will no longer be silent, one of the best ways to reach out is to reach out to the young people in love not condemnation.  You will see God start to work as his people start to unify in HIm in prayer to our Savior.  We have the vision of unifying the campus ministries and even the churches in the plans God has, but ultimately its up to us the students to listen to the voice of God and follow where he is leading.

Prayer requests

We pray for unification of campus ministries in this prayer ministry as well as area churches.
We pray for a place of prayer to gather in the presence of God together in silence, making room for God's spirit to be among us and to communicate will us.
We pray for the discipline when things get tough and the grace of God our Father to get us through the tough places.
We pray for protection from the enemy, for he will certainly not be happy with God's people coming together as one again, that we can stand firm in God's truth and love against the enemy’s blows.

God is building the ministry as we persue him and ask for his guidance He will bless us in our outreach to everyone on our campus.  Starting this semester a team is gathering, God is building a foundation that will last.  We are going to change our campus by God alone.  To be a part of what God is going to do email Cassie at wengerc@uni.edu 
we will be victorious in this because this is not a plan made by men but carried out by men by Gods plan and Gods power.  After we get this ministry going I am convinced our campus will never be the same.
