Prayer on Campus

Right now, we still don't have a location for our 24 hour prayer room, but we are meeting on Tuesday mornings from 8-9:30am in the GK Beach Room to pray for a location and some other topics.

Please join us as we prepare our hearts and our campus for what God is going to do!

God has been amazing on Drake's campus. The 24 hour prayer room we had on 11/18-11/19 was so much better than we could ever have dreamed! There was unity amongst us in that prayer room, and people began to trust one another as the Holy Spirit washed away some of the bitterness between us. It was so awesome to be able to experience that! It was great that even though we had different stations set up, students felt comfortable adding things to the prayer room, like a coffee maker and an acoustic guitar, which was very encouraging to a lot of people. A great thing I heard about the prayer room was that people were so excited and thankful just to have someplace to go and pray on campus.

We're very excited to see what God has in store for this campus with the 24/7 prayer room next semester!
