Option 1: Become a campus Catalyst

A Campus Catalyst represents their campus in the Campus America movement and seeks to catalyze and coordinate at least 72 hours of continual and united prayer during 2010 in coordination with other Campus Catalysts from other colleges and universities in their state. Become a Campus Catalyst

Option 2: Join the movement on your campus

If there’s already a Campus Catalyst on your campus, or if you want to get involved in the movement on your campus in another way, here’s what you can do:  Find your Campus, and see if anyone else has indicated interest in prayer on your campus.  If so, contact them, get connected, and check out 6 Ways you can begin engaging now.  If you’re the first one to represent your campus, pray about becoming your Campus Catalyst and leave a comment on your Campus Wiki page so that other visitors can connect with you!

Option 3: adopt a campus

Parents and grandparents, faculty and alumni are asking what they can do to help students encounter Jesus Christ. Now you can encourage students to rise up and pray like never before on the Campus you care about, as part of an unprecedented national missions initiative called Campus America. With your help we will touch every single campus in America next year. Our Adopt-A-Campus program helps you to help students change the world through the gift of hospitality, encouragement, money or prayer. Adopt a Campus

Do hard stuff

Do Hard Stuff. Its really that simple. The American culture has set incredibly low expectations for us. We’re expected to get an education, party like crazy and play video games. And sadly, most of us lower our behavior to match the level of society’s collegiate expectations. We’ve bought in to underachievement.

Do Hard Stuff. We’ve decided to rebel against these small expectations and do something about it. We all live on campus. We know how messed up things are. We see it every day. Truth is, things are so jacked up, ONLY God can fix it. So we’ve decided to take our appeal straight to God… in mass. We’ve decided to pray until God moves into the dorms, hijacks the lectures and drives us to repentance. We’ve committed to pray His Presence right down into the heart of campus life and then deal with the consequences.

Do Hard Stuff. Its time to pray. Its time to kneel before God, grab his ankles and shake Him in prayer with such determination that He releases his Presence on hundreds of colleges across America. There is no strategy big enough to do this ourselves. Its going to take prayer, fasting, repentance and determination to wrestle with God in prayer on behalf of our friends and our world. We’re going to have to come together, love each other deeply, pray like crazy and confess the sins we have committed. This is NOT going to be easy.

Do Hard Stuff. God loves weak prayer. We don’t have to be eloquent with our intercession. Anyone can pray by simply forming words around the desires of their hearts. Prayer is putting words to the inward cries. We can do this. Just be diligently weak and completely tenacious. Don’t settle. Its time to own up to our individual sins, seek God’s forgiveness and pray like crazy.

Do Hard Stuff. Consider this… We are attempting something that has never been done before. No one has ever mobilized massive prayer like this for all the colleges and universities of America. But why give ourselves to something that is possible when we could attempt the impossible. It should be so impossible that if we succeed, everyone will know that God did it and we helped!

Do Hard Stuff. Join the year of prayer. Begin praying NOW. Gather a few friends and start praying. Start dreaming together about what could happen if you accepted the challenge to pray 24-7 for seven consecutive days… or longer if you can. C’mon… take the challenge. Our nation needs us.
